I stayed in a room cleaned daily, a definite plus. the location impressed me. It was a short walk to the train station. i found the breakfast offered an excellent food choice. for the evening meal, the food was served hot.

the hotel entry showed some signs of needing attention, like broken window panes.

The staff was polite. The hotel location proved convenient, very close to the town centre. The room offered the expected facilities. I appreciated the quiet environment during the night.

I found there was no hot water. I arrived Friday and Saturday, but there was no-one in the reception to speak with. I needed to heat water in the kettle to wash.

The room was spacious and included clean bedding. The towels were also clean. The bathroom floor needed a scrub. The carpet showed bits all over it, though the wallpaper was ripped.
